Lake Lotus Park

Lake Lotus park, the natures preserve, includes the park, woods, and wetlands. It houses the unique ecosystem with biodiversity, natural habitat for numerous flora and fauna species. You can take a stroll along a mile of the raised boardwalk or go fishing on the Fishing Pier.

Seminole Wekiva Trail

Seminole Wekiva Trail, a paved recreational trail, the former Orange Belt Railway, links Altamonte SpringsLongwood, and Lake Mary. It is almost 14 miles long. It is not only hikers who can enjoy the trail – it is frequented by cyclists, dog walkers, runners, hikers, and inline skaters.

You can enjoy your favorite movie with your family in Cranes Roost Park. You have to bring your chairs and blankets only as the admission is free. If you get hungry, food and beverages are available.

Family Fest

The Altamonte Springs Police Department organizes this family event designed just for kids. Visitors can enjoy music and dancing, but they can also see police and fire vehicles, and different police demonstrations. There are live animals and promotional and food vendors.

Entertaining Fountain

In Cranes Roost Park, visitors can watch special Entertaining Fountain shows comfortably seated at the heart of the Plaza nightly at 6, 7, 8 and 9 PM.

Halloween

At this sponsored event, around 15,000 kids get their candies and live entertainment including different activities like costume contests, and games.

Light Up The Holidays

The tradition of lighting up Cranes Roost Park is celebrated with fireworks, music, entertainment, and train rides. 200,000 lights illuminate the park and a richly decorated 60-foot tree.

Independence Day

Red, Hot & Boom deliver an amazing night – great performances, tasty food, and fireworks. It is a lot of fun.

Rhythms at the Roost

Rhythms at the Roost are the popular concert series with great bands, great food, and interesting festival themes. You only need to bring a chair as the admission is free.

World Food Festival 

World Food Festival is a food festivity with international cuisine, several stages with music and dance performances. You can see the traditional dress and customs and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere.

Beer and Bacon Festival 

At Beer and Bacon Festival visitors can try more than 30 craft beers and eat delicious bacon dishes. It is a great way to spend time with your friends in a relaxed atmosphere.
